The Mindset of a Leader
Where did this come from?
This workshop is the result of research into ‘how the brain’ works and in particular how effective leaders use their brain to be successful leaders. The session starts with a basic understanding of how the brain functions and stores information in simple terms.
In this session we will get into the mindset of a leader and discover what & why they behave the way they do. Participants will gain an insight into the thinking processes needed to manage or lead effectively.
The insights gained will apply to:
- Leadership and Management
- Managing self;
- Leading and motivating people.
Participants will gain a powerful understanding of the brain and the session will enable them to know how to identify their own motivational influences and recognise them in others.
How will the leader benefit from this approach?
- Be more effective as a leader and manager;
- Recognise motivational influences and how to use them for themselves and when dealing with people;
- A basis for being able to recruit and promote the right managers and leaders in an organisation;
- Be more proactive and less reactive;
- Deal with issues with a less emotional approach and focus on the issue and not the personality;
- Draw people out and help them improve their performance.
What will the Leader be able to do?
- Use their thinking process more efficiently
- Develop the behaviours needed to be more effective in their role
- Adapt their time to be able to respond to the needs of the business;
- Understand what motivates them and how to use it
